Founder of the creative studio VoA, Valentina is an architect and designer specializing in sustainable architectural and urban renovation, based in Milan. She has worked as an architectural professional for many years with international studios including Studio Libeskind, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and Heatherwick Studio. She participated in urban rethinking projects with Sidewalk Labs in Toronto and contributed to Google’s master plan for San Jose, California—experiences that deeply inform her practice and vision. VoA’s work focuses on the interplay between architecture and organic matter, built heritage and interstitial nature, weaving biophilic principles into every project at any scale.

Her passion for natural processes guides her exploration of ideas and making, which inform her design approach, communications, and practice. As an architect and researcher, her work investigates boundaries between architecture and research, embracing contamination and material transformation as catalysts for project evolution within historical context. She believes in fluid client communication that integrates both human and environmental needs. She works fluidly across tools—from BIM modeling and traditional drawing to advanced digital platforms.
